Short Term Film

At the track, our vehicles are constantly being bombarded with sand, gravel, pebbles, rocks, tire marbles, bugs and other harmful debris.

One area that receives tremendous abuse is a vehicle’s windshield. Replacing a windshield can be very expensive and time consuming.

To protect against the damaging effects of race track debris we install a special, ultra strong polyester film on the outside of the windshield.

This film has a low tack adhesive and can be left in place for a period of time or can be easily and quickly removed if it gets cluttered with debris, scuffs or bug splatters.

This material can also be layered on top of one another to produce a “Tear-Off” system for endurance racing so that one pull of a strategically placed tab will tear off one layer and reveal a brand new, clean layer underneath.

This is highly beneficial to road racers and endurance racers to save valuable time in the pits and get back out on the track. Instead of having to take time to wash a windshield all one needs to do is tear off one layer and it’s back to racing with a clean windshield.

The way we achieve this ultra glossy look is through laminating our Venture Shield clear bra to the 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl. This super glossy film transforms a hardtop car into a car with a panoramic style roof. We also took 3M 1080's gloss metallic black and covered the brake portion of the tail light. We meticulously hand trim every edge of our film t ensure the installation looks legitimately real.
