How to install a temporary clear bra

Race Wrap is a temporary clear bra system that is easily applied by the Do-It-Yourselfer. It protects your vehicle from light debris such as:

  • small stones
  • sand
  • gravel
  • bugs
  • tar
  • over-spray
  • trail dust

This material is perfect for road trips, race track events, vehicle transport, or any time you need a little extra coverage to protect from the elements. It’s a 6 mil (.006 of an inch) thick polyethylene film coated with a medium tack adhesive.

This temporary clear bra is super easy to apply. No liner to remove. It comes right off the roll ready to stick in place. Just smooth it down with your hand, tuck and adjust as desired, trim out your grille openings and lights and you’re ready to roll.

Our temporary clear bra is designed to be temporary, and comes off with gentle tugging leaving no residue on your paint. Unlike other temporary covers, you won’t have to clean up after it.

The way we achieve this ultra glossy look is through laminating our Venture Shield clear bra to the 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl. This super glossy film transforms a hardtop car into a car with a panoramic style roof. We also took 3M 1080's gloss metallic black and covered the brake portion of the tail light. We meticulously hand trim every edge of our film t ensure the installation looks legitimately real.
